Thanks CLC for tagging me for this award. I feel like a winner! For lack of anything interesting to write about today, I may as well take part! And being relatively new to this community, this is the first time I've done one of these things...The rules of the award:
1) Choose a minimum of seven blogs that you find brilliant in content or design.
2) Show the seven winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with "Honest Scrap". Well, there's no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon.
3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself.
3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself.
1) I love organising things. Our wedding, our holiday, buying our new house then having a baby. All events in my life that were highly organised that involved lots of list making by me.
2) I love going places I have never been before. I have been to about 22 countries, including Malaysia and Turkey and the farthest I've been from home is the Isle of Skye in the Scottish highlands. And next week, Hawaii here we come.
3) I love Vegemite and avocado on toast. Don't knock it, try it.
4) I used to play badminton and tennis as a kid, but my tennis coach told me to give up the badminton as he said it wasn't good for my tennis game.
5) I'm super competitive and determined. I like to win and be first, even though that doesn't often happen.
6) I like to smell my dog. Seriously, he smells like corn chips when he's really sleepy and relaxed.
7) I know Pitmans shorthand. I learnt it when I was doing my journalism training. Sometimes I still find myself using it when I'm making one of the above mentioned lists.
8) I own a tagine that was imported from Africa and I love to cook in it.
9) I don't initiate conversation with anyone I know anymore. Since losing Hope, if people want to speak to me, they have to contact me. I always respond though, I just don't have the energy to contact people myself.
10) I haven't had a shower today, and it is 4.48pm. Oh well.
Seriously, pretty boring answers. Hope no one fell asleep reading. More interesting posts forthcoming.

Thanks Sally...
ReplyDeleteAnd if it makes you feel any better I only had a shower at 2.30pm and got dressed because I had to go to the doctor for another certificate to say that I'm mentally unfit to work with idiots!
